Merrist Wood GC - Guildfords most vibrant and modern golf club
Merrist Wood is one of Guildford's most vibrant golf clubs, with a modern and lively club house we aim to make golfers of all standards and ages feel welcome.
Being a member at Merrist Wood gives you many avenues to extend your passion for golf, it allows you to play in competitions, gain a handicap and socialise with other golfers.
We have over 50 individual competitions, team competitions and chances to play for the club. Unlike many golf clubs, Merrist Wood offers organised roll-ups during non competition weekends, this leads to a more integrated and friendly club membership and a great way to meet new people.
From the Championship tees it is one of the longest in the Surrey at just under 7000yds. We never use temporary greens or ban trollies, always hand rake greenside bunkers to allow the golfer to show off their skills around the green and offer members free practice balls to use on the quality range and short game area. As you can see we are a true golfers, golf club.
